Dr Haynes is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Sydney and the lead inventor of Novalith's technology. Brian has a long and distinguished 44 year career in chemical process engineering, holding appointments at University of Göttingen in Germany, at MIT in the USA, and at CSIRO in Sydney. Brian’s areas of work include energy-intensive applications such as combustion, high-efficiency microstructured process systems and CO2 capture. He works closely with industry, demonstrated in the granting of several international patents in the area of process intensification. He has authored more than 200 peer reviewed scientific publications and held von Humboldt and QEII Fellowships.
